Helping GAWF
GAWF relies entirely on the generosity of supporters in order to continue with our life-saving work for the animals.

Over the past 50 years we have funded smaller animal welfare groups and they have been able to reach into the most remote corners of Greece to save thousands of animals. We have lobbied the Government to secure better protection for all animals and we have responded to emergency calls from the public and tourists and have subsequently rescued and treated animals that were in desperate need of help. We have successfully located, caught and rehabilitated starving street animals. All of these animals would have had no chance of a life if GAWF had not stepped in and we couldn’t have stepped in without your support.
There are so many ways you can help us to continue saving animals – please look at the links to the left and get active for the animals of Greece today! A heartfelt thank-you from all of us at GAWF on behalf of all the animals you have enabled us to save over the years.
Can you help us collect funds for the animals?

Thank you Jenny!
A huge thank-you to artist Jenny Sweet who kindly painted a beautiful picture of a horse and donated this to GAWF. The painting will be auctioned at GAWF’s Equine Project fundraiser which will be held on July 25th and will raise much needed funds.
We are always so grateful to our supporters for donations. If you would like to donate an item for auction or for us to sell at an event please get in touch with us.
