Our public information video airs on Greek tv!

Greek Animal Welfare Fund/Animal Action Hellas: GET YOUR PET NEUTERED!

From today, Greek TV will be airing our ‘public information’ short, animated film across many channels. Its canine “star” is shown getting up to a whole lot of not-so-polite behaviours, and the ‘take-home message’ is crystal clear: “Get your dog neutered. He’ll be happier, healthier, better behaved, and he won’t be responsible for any unwanted litters of puppies!” Our animation will be broadcast for a whole month, and we know its humorous (and slightly ‘salty’) approach will make the serious content stick in people’s minds. We’d like to thank Angeliki Panagiotopoulou for donating her time and expertise in editing both the video and audio version for us, and what’s more, she did it in two languages! We are very proud that the Greek TV and Radio Board approved GAWF / Animal Action ‘public information’ video clip promoting responsible neutering of companion animals! Our short animation clip shows a pet dog getting up to his normal tricks, with a clear animal welfare message to “Get your dog neutered.  He’ll be happier, healthier, better behaved, and he won’t be responsible for any unwanted litters of puppies!”

It will be broadcast on TV and Radio throughout Greece during the month of January. It was first broadcast in the new year on regional ‘Attika TV’, it had its first Radio broadcast on ‘Gavdos Radio’, a small island off Crete. We will update with a complete list at the end of January!

We all hope it will raise the message about sterilisation of cats and dogs, and also help promote all the other animal welfare work GAWF / Animal Action does!  We’d like to thank Angeliki Panagiotopoulou, independent video producer for donating her time and expertise in editing both the video and audio version for us, and what’s more, she did it in two languages!
